During the second quarter of 2022, the top five science-themed games on the Android platform in Peru exhibited varied performance trends in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a closer look at how each game performed according to Sensor Tower data.

Merge Animals 3D - Mutant race saw a significant fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting strong with around 16.9K downloads in late March, but experiencing a decline to approximately 5K by late May. However, the game showed a recovery phase, ending June with close to 9.9K downloads. The weekly active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 24.6K in late March, dropping to 10.8K by late May, and then rebounding to around 15.6K by the end of June.

Monsters: Laboratory experienced a peak in weekly downloads at mid-April with approximately 11.8K downloads, but saw a sharp decline to around 504 by the end of June. Despite these fluctuations, the weekly active users remained relatively stable, maintaining around 14.8K users from mid-April through the end of June.

Plague Inc. had a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 4.6K in late April. This was reflected in the weekly active users, which rose to 7.2K during the same period. Although the downloads and active users saw a decrease towards the end of the quarter, they maintained a steady level with around 1K downloads and 2.4K active users in late June. Revenue for the game peaked at $56 in the last week of April but saw no significant revenue in the latter part of the quarter.

Jetpack Joyride showed more consistent but lower download figures, starting at around 1.3K in early April and gradually declining to about 622 by the end of June. The weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting with approximately 7.6K in early April and decreasing to around 4.7K by the end of June.

Cell to Singularity: Evolution had relatively stable weekly downloads, ranging between 465 and 1.1K throughout the quarter. The weekly active users also remained steady, starting at approximately 5K in late March and ending with roughly 4.7K in late June.
